This 5-disc CD set covers the difficult concept of long vowel spellings.  Students will receive an introduction to long vowel spellings.  During the introduction, students will become aware that the location of the long vowel sound in the word determines how the long vowel is represented using letters.  Following the introduction, students will study the four long vowels spellings for each of the five vowels.

This 2-disc CD set covers the less commonly known vowel teams.  Students will study the vowel teams "au", "aw", "ei", "eu", "ey", the three sounds of "ea", "ie", the diphthongs "oi" and "oy",  the two sounds "oo", the two sounds of "ou", the two sounds of "ow", and when to use "ou" versus "ow".

This CD covers the seven Anglo-Saxon spelling rules that govern the English language.  Students will study the "f" "l" "s" doubling rule, the "CVC" doubling rule, the silent "e" rule, the "y" rule,  and the long spelling rule and its governance of "-ck", "-dge", and "-tch".
