The English Code© Online Language Training Course will train individuals in our Orton-Gillingham-based system for the remediation of individuals with language-based learning difficulties. We offer three levels of certification: Level 1 (Apprentice Level), Level 2 (Associate Level), and Level 3 (Endorsed Level).
Each level is a 100-hour online course. Level 1 is designed for use by dedicated parents in home-schooling environments. Level 2 and Level 3 are designed for use by academic language therapists, educational specialists, tutors, mainstream or special needs English Departments, and dedicated parents in home-schooling environments who seek advanced training.
Great lengths have been crossed in order to make the curriculum as "self-guiding" as possible. Parents, specialists, and therapists will be able to hone their language training skills through practicing The English Code Language Training System. Additionally, participants must complete approximately 60 hours of pre-course preparation after registration for the course and approximately 20 hours of homework during the course. Each course includes 20 hours of direct, on-line training.
A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of each of the three levels of the training course. Successful completion of the training course will allow participants to provide highly effective one-on-one academic language therapy. Applicants must submit a criminal records check prior to the issuance of course certificate.
